The Ministry of Justice moves to temporary premises located at Kasarmikatu 25 due to the renovation of the Ministry's current premises. The move to the premises formerly used by the Ministry of the Environment will take place on 5-7 June.

The move only concerns the staff working in the premises located at Eteläesplanadi 10. The staff working in the Ministry's other two premises, located at Kasarmikatu 42 and Mannerheimintie 4, will stay in their current premises.

The premises at Eteläesplanadi 10 will be renovated. The aim is to reduce the costs of the Ministry's premises and to use the facilities more efficiently in order to make it possible to place the Ministry's entire staff in the premises located at Eteläesplanadi 10. The measures to enable more efficient use of the premises are in line with the new Government Premises Strategy.

The Ministry of Justice will move back to the renovated premises at Eteläesplanadi 10 in the summer of 2016. 

The postal address remains the same

The Ministry’s P.O. Box address and telephone numbers will remain unchanged. As of 8 June 2015, the new street address will be Kasarmikatu 25, Helsinki.
