Competence development

Law drafting is one of the Government's core tasks. In order to develop law drafting competence, a learning path for law drafters has been created, Ministries have drawn up joint induction recommendations for law drafting, and the provision of law drafting training has been reformed.

The development of law drafter competence in the Government starts with induction. The Ministries are responsible for familiarising each new law drafter with the Ministry, Government activities, work tasks and work community.

The Government's joint trainings include a wide range of courses that support law drafting, ranging from induction courses to advanced thematic training. Other means of competence development, such as exchange programmes, are also available.
