Continuing powers of attorney possible as of November

By issuing a continuing power of attorney you can authorize a person of your own choice to attend to your affairs if illness, deteriorating mental capacity or some other similar reason later renders you incapable of doing it yourself. The continuing power of attorney is a new legal instrument. The Act on Continuing Powers of Attorney will come into force on 1 November 2007.
